Living the dream.

There is not better day for me than just wake up, knowing that I have boat waiting with people who are ready to go diving or try diving. The sheer fact that I can dive every day is enough to make my day. Coming to work with smile and joy is the ultimate goal in life, I would say. Everyone is chasing their dream and everyone dream is different. I will always remember the first time I did my first dive at Amalfi Coast. It was a try dive with my son as I cannot seem to sit still too much on holidays or at least it was this as now I really enjoy doing nothing, sometimes. After the initial quick theory from the diving instructor, we descended to make buoyancy check and then stand up to confirm that all is ok. Afterwards we went to dive and I immediately felt like home. The sea was and is my home now as much as It took good few years to get to it. One relationship and few jobs later, I’m free and doing scuba diving for living.

After completing the first dive I asked the instructor to advise me on what equipment I should get as I want to do this for living. He tried to explain to me that I should wait and do not hastily spend money as I do not know what the future brings. However I knew back then, that this will make me happy and that I should proceed. Just remember this now as the girl who did Open Water course with us yesterday, said the same. She felt like this is the right way of living and the only way for her to make living, after she finish the university. It is nice to meet up with like minded people who are chasing the same dream or calling.

I do what I desire and love, with possible improvement when I become scuba diving instructor and start teaching people  as this is what I do want to do for the rest of my times here on this blue speck of matter in the universe.

Now I know what  is the next step on the bucket list, find the girl that likes diving and me and then settle somewhere sunny and warm with scuba diving business to make living and enjoying the life. When we know what we desire and clearly define this, I believe that it will come true eventually. It is like everything else, have idea, goal In mind and go after it no matter what but with patience and perseverance.

When sitting here at sea front, listening to waves and watching the sea as well as Turkey across the sea in shorts and flip flops it make me so calm and satisfied. Warm gentle breeze is flowing and make the heat nice and bearable, not too hot, not too cold just right. All this and for free, simple life has the perks and living in the moment is one of them.
