Hello all :-)

Welcome to my page. I will try to document my travels and scuba diving around the world or at least few countries. Hope you have a nice stay!

Time to wake up.

Time to wake up.

Well I’m awake but just about after some time spent travelling and flying as it was nearly 23 hours and with the time zone change I’m bit spaced out. No matter how great the destination is the waking up at 3am is not pleasant as much as I have not slept because of excitement. However when I joined the zombie crowd at the airport I fell like home just the difference was that this crowd was not blood thirsty but coffee thirsty and instead of bitting the people around they all line up nicely in the queue and paid the overpriced coffee at the terminal 2 of Dublin airport.

After some time suiting and waiting around the Aer Lingus took off and we were on the route to London which I realised served even more overpriced coffee. Since the crowds were more awake at Gatwick airport the bitting started, not as much as Zombies, more like angry restless people who try to get to their destinations of Sun. However they all travel together through the Wetherspoons or Pret A Manger as if the only cure for morning tiredness is full English breakfast and pint of beer, yes beer at 9am. So after some waiting in lines I’ve got a table nearly the window so that I could watch the snowflakes falling down from the grey sky hidden in the fog. Not to mention to hope that planes are landing and taking off in this weather as the one oversized toothpaste like aluminium tube that should transport and squeeze me out on the other side of the pond was delayed.

One breakfast musli with fruit and yogurt later the delay was 30 minutes and then changed for more so another coffee and one chapter of Paul Newman biography later finally screen showed the desired letters GO TO GATE. Woo hoo the dash of about 300 people started through the airport in the speed that even Usain Bolt could find competition there. Everyone run away from the snow and cold for the Sun as if the gate was the Stargate and transport them to the Sunny Cancun by seconds after they step through the doors. No one told them that we all will be sitting in the toothpaste tube for another 2.5 hours waiting for great yellow piss to defrost the plane. Yes it was yellow and yes it was great not just in size but also in the relieve that came afterwards, as we could take off. You can even heat the relieve in the pilot voice as if he was himself doing the job.

So after some warning about not smoking or  vaping by stewardess the captain himself give the spiel that they should not test his patience as he is ready to call the police. That is what happens if you have stag party on the plane 30 people strong.

Eventually after they cleaned  the bar dry they somehow quiet down and slowly falling asleep. Now it was time for the stewardess to rest too.

After I do not know how many movies we finally started to descent to Cancun and the vision of shower and bed was the only thing that kept me shuffling my feet.

Luggage in the hand now is the time get reap after practicing the online combat games in real trying to avoid all those taxi , limo etc etc drivers waiting outside terminal for their victims. Eventually the shuttle bus came and I was on the way to dreamland. Some things but only some are better than shower and sleep after nearly 24 hours travelling.

Woke up and went for breakfast still a bit spaced out from jet lag but then at the table watching the lush green and listening to all those birds slowly sweating in the heat, it came to me as if I wake up, I’m in the mexico on the way to live my dream as scuba diver. Such realisation, when one realise how lucky one is the best wake up alarm. I’m blessed and so so glad to be able to be here and on the way to live the dream life.

Thanks to God and all who helped me get here as the list of people will be never ending if it would try to name them all.
