Time relativity

Theory of relativity is complicated science I guess but I think that It can be explained simply. Three days spent on holiday, having a good time and enjoying the all little things that make holiday makes the time go so fast that we wish for more time. On the other hand same time period of three days spent at airport or in better case airport hotel waiting for cancelled flight to take off again is really long and go really slowly, stretching like bubble of chewing gum. Thankfully the airport hotels are relatively cheap i.e $60 per night with some feed in the morning what could be called breakfast only in very optimistic way or when you are really hungry. However the food in belly makes me a little less hangry or cranky and therefore I might be a pleasant companion at the airport gate, when reading the word DELAY on the gate screen with anticipation of another word CACELLED.

              Apparently the weather conditions on Roatan prevented airplanes to land, smoke from the forest fires changed the visibility needed for landing as the instruments are not sufficient to do that in case of bad weather. I think I might get some allergic reaction to word DELAYED or CANCELLED as this is longest waiting for airplane I ever had. Thankfully at least I was able to book hotel for two night and therefore had a day to see a tiny bit of Houston with fellow stranded passenger.

              I like heat but sweet lord the Houston is something next and it is not even summer, when the only people on the streets are suicidal ones or one who want to save money on gas or electricity and therefore cook outside on the curb or hood of the car. Holly molly what a heat but with heat comes Air Conditonig so yeeha museum it is. After another dose of culture and very interesting drawing pavilion at Menil museum, where the pencil, ink drawings are showcased time has come to get some real Texas food. The Pit Room was recommended together with the Menil museum and thanks for that as otherwise I might miss the real Texas lunch of brisket, ribs, venison sausage. Delicious for sure but sweet lord, I become snake traying to digest the monthly meal and in that heat, it was a challenge for sure.

Meal for two days I would say but thankfully trusted friend Tonic Water this time without Gin was the savior of the day. Still the sleep avoided me and I just huff and puff until 2 in the morning, so alarm at 6 was really shock therapy. Thankfully shower helps to wake up, better than party finishing at hotel pool in the morning. As I sipped the tar called coffee I was told that flight was rescheduled from 8:40 to 13:00 so I did not have to wake up…..

Well let’s see if today flight will take off and land or shall I enjoy another night of movies in hotel room.
