For Honza

Who works hard behind the computer and have “no time” to read this blog where nothing important is written anyhow. Since he is requested the article I should stich something up before I get back in water as after there is no time to type, usually is only eat, sleep, other s… word and repeat.

However to conclude the return trip from Europe to the Caribbean paradise momentarily called home, let start with takeoff at London. I have to say that so far the London did not disappoint me and that goes for Heathrow airport, fast food is good and it is so refreshing to see so many salad options  available, defo prefer the healthy side of food, most of the time. You cannot say no to nice fresh fish & chips with tartare sauce sometimes. Yeah let just get on board and into plush seat of premium plus class with other travelers and lets fart into them as into the regular economy ones. Yeah the seat is wider, more comfortable and even if the purple is not my color in this case I will make exemption and park my bony ass down there for next few movies. Flying back from Europe is ok as the time is on my side and I just have one long day filled by movies and music with possible snooze.

See how frequently my ladies co travelers will move in and out of their seats so that I can slip to stretch legs as even with the Purple seat my legs need to stretch and get some walk, bit stretching on roughly after every movie. Seems like the meal is cool and tasty for the airline food, so no complains there but compliments to those chocolate truffles they served with coffee as they were yummy yummy and thankfully the amazing flight attendants ladies, supplied me with a good share of those. I guess three or four movies and some music later we touch down in Houston.

Have to say that the heat hit me hard when get out of the airport since I came from London dressed pretty well for English Autumn and therefore the jumper, down vest and denim jacket seems like a little bit overkill. At least I’m aware of Houston airport and therefore can find my way around pretty easily. Few moments later, after reuniting with my luggage was on the way to hotel shuttle and in few sweaty moments sat on front seat and looked forward to the shower and rest in horizontal position. Ramada by Wyndham is the usual suspect for short and relatively cheap accommodation and as repeated offender I went there again. Not the most pleasant staff at the reception made this stay a bitter tasted but allright, it is bed, shower and porcelain king throne for one night.

What a different travelling when I make effort a bit in what I’m wearing, seems like people are nicer and more willing to assist with everything as well serve me the breakfast with a view. Yeah I like the EMBER restaurant and their seating are front of he big window aka glass wall is really something. Seating, view and service is really beautiful and I love it all except need to order through application, that is down side as I prefer to deal with human server when ordering. Well not much I can do as it seems like slowly but surely the humans will become obsolete and replaced by Information Technology. Server girl was pleasant and working hard for tips which is understandable and she was a bit surprised when I ordered Earl Grey tea with milk and honey. Maybe she just played well the surprise to get engagement for a better tip but she was good, the food was tasty plus the view and quietly listening Keith Jarrett concert from Koln in 1975 was perfect morning breakfast time.

All the hustle and bustle of waking up airport, left behind by noise cancelling headphones while listening to truly amazing piano concert, while watching the sky slowly changing the colors from the dark after night blue to more lively and lightly sunny streaks slowly extending their touch on the ground below and the planes parked on tarmac. Yeah I have to say that the trip relaxed me and I felt really good, after the holidays one should. Back home at Roatan. Until next trip.
