Time to fly again and chase the Sun.
Here we go at 3:30 am the alarm went off and the eye lids are still shut close tight. Well that is fun in travelling, as they say. However the shower woke me up and I’m like dolphin on my way with half a brain up and active. Not much difference from any other day at work, just a bit more sleep deprived.
Arrived at the airport at 4am and some people were there but it was quieter than expected to be, I could sleep for another hour. Doh! Well anyhow, we were talking and standing, waiting for some coffee shop to open. Woo hoo the Costa Coffee opened so one americano and Danish later slowly moving to wards Fast Track before the sentiment will track and tackle me fast. Right behind the security the people are queuing for coffee like it was ticket to the moon and back for free. Fleeing the hordes of caffeine zombies, I got to the gate of middle earth. From there I was transported like hobbit by the airport bus to the real gate.
It is real nice to have friends who work at the airport as it does make me feel special to have yellow vest talking to me at the tarmac, while everyone else is boarding the plane ha ha ha. Not that the friends does not make me feel special other times, as they do that. Also it is nice to receive so many messages wishing me safe journey and good luck to start new phase of my life.
Gatwick airport came in blink of the eye a s I was gone with fairies as soon as the cabin lights dimmed down. Breakfast time is here and with it, time to type. Nice breakfast at Nicholas Culpeper restaurant with smile of nice waitress, that made my day so far. Refueled and ready for next stop at Kos. Traveling light is important so bicycle, dive gear, all the electronics and I’m going through airport as if I’m moving three houses at once. At least I had time to sit and eat while surrounded by bags on each side.
Nap time is here I think, so lets get ready and move to some nice quiet spot for a time being until check-in begins.
