Frankie's update
Yeah the update. Who gives crap about what that muppet is doing. He said that we are staying here and that I should get my yellow skin used to the sunshine as we are not moving. Feck yeah the sweat is pouring down me back like the good stuff I mean Guinness for the rest of ya infidels who does not know what the good stuff is. Yep we are here six months and he still happy that muppet, even after the bike ride and diving every day he us still upbeat and not fecking buying ticket out of this frigging oven, doh…
Well what can I say he always leave me in the bag, when we ride the motorbike, apparently I’m too small to sit on the seat, Yea but he is quick to say that size does not matter when the chicks are around, the hypocrite. But to be fair to him ‘hard to do’ he is bringing me anywhere and I was happy to go diving, even if I was lazy to catch ride on someone back ha ha. Diving is fun and here it is nice and easy with great clients and colleagues.
Thank you for your update Frankie and let’s see what the honest update would look like.
So for the few months I have spent in Caribbean heaven I have only positive memories and good experiences, being it the diving people or weather, seeing the Frankie’s complaint of the heat, well May and now September are hot but when comparing to Kos now we are doing great. Kilometer counter on the moto is flying and now nearly 5K on it so it must be some distance I had covered. Also getting better in the Adrenalin sport called, island style driving. Getting used to anticipate the car or moto flying on my side of the road especially on the sharp curves when everyone think this is F1 / GP circuit. Some times i think i can start collect side mirrors. Sure the breeze from the ocean is amazing when driving at Flowers Bay and love the spots of the jungle where the road cross the cool forest breeze, smelling of freshens of water and foliage.
Also i need to wear my AfterShocks more now when the wired headphones pulled phone out of my pocket on the road and as much as i stopped nearly immediately the bastard in second car, run directly over it, even if I tried to stay in his path and showed him to pull sideways. Well maybe he was pissed that I overtook him on narrow road during the construction works 5 min before. However the island life is good but in this case, the difference between Europe is noticeable as there are no mobile phone repair shops every fifty meters so new screen is not so easy to get, especially on Xiaomi brand. I think that here must some plane or container ship crashed with shipment of iPhone and Samsung mobiles since nothing else is here. After hours driving between the few phone shops, I realized that i need to get new phone since the repair for Xiaomi is not available. Thankfully, one shop had the cheapest mobile and again Xiaomi so here we go 3K in local currency later I had new phone and at least I could restore back up from the old one.
After driving around I realized that running errands on island means lots of kilometers on moto, since when i Picked up my BCD from repairs and on the way home had mobile accident i was told that i had to go back to other side of island as there is the best mobile phone shop. Taking some new fashion color of lobster red and parched as tourist in middle of Sahara I was glad to be home and replenish liquids with feet up. Not to mention that as i was finally drove home, I’ve met pal of mine who said that he has contact for the mobile repair guy who is doing screen replacement on island doh, after spending money on new phone doh.
Also I was able to get a free service on moto as part of the promotion, however the service here means to top up oil and spray WD40 on some parts of moto. What a great “service” from distributor. Now i understand why no one goes to the them after the moto is purchased. Well small things will be done at home with simple tools and will go to them only for big stuff. Hopefully they will be able to do them. Everyone who can change oil is mechanic here.
Well now the studying for Scuba Diving Instructor course can continue as this is the next step starting on 10th Sep after slight delay due the madness called the COVID years, now I’m ready to take next step and become the Scuba Diving Instructor and therefore be able to teach scuba diving. Not without stress of course as this is important and cost a few shekels so i just took break from studying to type this short and quick update.
I have so much to say but since tomorrow is day 1 of the course i would do more detailed update later, now back to books.
