Hello all :-)

Welcome to my page. I will try to document my travels and scuba diving around the world or at least few countries. Hope you have a nice stay!

Another update from Emerald Island...

Another update from Emerald Island...

Another quick update from me and Frankie as much as he is pissed  off, that he is stuck at top of the TV and watching the life passing behind the front window, instead from the airplane window or even better from the diving boat.

Anyhow the Saturday was absofuckinglutely gorgeous day, starting with morning of blue cloudless sky, grass sprinkled with white sugar of ground frost and birds ‘I mean actual birds’ chirping in the trees. Their chirping sounded like, ‘ I don’t believe lads, sun is out there and no clouds, we could fly dry, feck yeah’ while their other halves aka ladies chirp was like ‘don’t you dare to fly on your own to feck who knows where’ sweet sound of the family morning in the tree tops. No one in the park only three cars in the car park, what a treat, when I wake up early. Walking the park alone in silence and enjoying the sun on the skin, birds songs filling the ears. What a treat.

Frankie is still cranky but hey that is his problem. Nothing I can do about that as he is one grumpy yellow old fart who want to go globetrotting, exploring and watching the bids, especially those in swim suits, little filth he is. Well who would not, yeah…😊

Meanwhile, hiking on the hills of Ireland is the only travel I can do, except of the travelling with finger on the map, this is valid for both generation, older on the physical map and the younger generation on the google map on their smart phones. It is nice to be able to go hiking on new roads, alone or with friends. Alone time is for longer hikes as not many friends are ready to go with me on day hike, apparently I walk fast, not true btw. However I like to go alone as I can go off path and cross the mud, soaked bog pits and listening to the wind howling and admiring the rough nature around me.

As I joined the old company for a brief stint in my old role I have some sort of familiarity at the present and routine as well. I would like to say that I do like the building aka office very much and since the situation is changed in the world, it is nice to have brain working again so it will not go completely mushy. Initially it felt strange be back in the town and the office and it took me the whole month to adjust to new reality but eventually I did settled in as if I have never left, jeysus we are creatures of habit are we… Also cycling to and from work is a nice break from sitting in the car and in the office and also the experiencing the elements while cycling is great way to relax. I do cycling slower than before, looking around me on the world familiar but somehow anew, houses, trees etc is feeling like I’m being a tourist here. It could be, because my stint here is for six months only and when I’m aware of the end I do focus more on the present.

Everything is more highlighted when I’m in present, even the old friends who are now rediscovered are on different level. Enjoying their company now is something else but also there is no need to be in their company. It is like going with the flow and see them, when I or they need it. Meditation twice per day is probably helping this and with a bit of yoga in the morning I feel good as James Brown sing.

Every day in just Another day in the paradise. Especially when it is sunny or at least dry, while I’m at hills called Dublin mountains. What a day spent in nature with friend can do for you but still the cherry on the top is the Bel Gelato in Dalkey with their lemon sorbet and pistachio is like to have great sex, you can do without it but when you have it, you know what are you missing. Something similar is to having beers with lads in the garden. Apropo Garden, that is the place where Robo and me build the greenhouse for his nearly wife after her nagging reached level called enough is enough, one night when we were drinking together and she just made the call, that since I’m there I can help him to build it next day. Manual work, what the heck I did in my previous life to deserve this. Anyhow all fingers and other body parts remained unharmed during the process and no damage was done, except to few beer bottles which fall during the building  process.

Happy to report that I cannot wait for the June as I finally can go scuba diving for the weekend to the wild wild west at Connemara. I’m looking forward to go camping and diving again and since we have bank holiday Monday i.e. we are not working on Monday, I can have two days of diving. Well this time is Connemara and later it will be Dublin bay as I want to try it on this side too as well as it is cheaper and quicker since I don’t have to drive for five to seven hours across the Ireland.

Well this little update is at the end as I need to get nap, before head off to the double birthday party to drink some beers, eat some meat, some birthday excellent ‘homemade’ cakes and chit chat about everything and anything.

I would love to give some space to Frankie here but sweet lord, these pages are not for his language. Especially when he sees those photos from friends around the world and those amazing places, such as Taghazout beach and surf shop where we were sitting with the surf family watching sunset. Or Indonesia and those lush green forests, not to even mentioning the underwater life that is absolutely amazing. Well he is getting crankier every time he sees those photos on Instagram and no wonder as I need to work on myself too, not to get cranky or just purely sad. So long for now, dear ones, who got lost on these pages.
